China Vanadium Titano-Magnetite Mining Company Limited informed the shareholders of the Company and potential investors that by (i) a joint notice issued by the Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department and State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company 14 August 2022 and (ii) a notice issued by the Wenchuan County Economic on Business and Information Bureau issued on 15 August 2022, the relevant Chinese government authorities announced that, in view of the increasingly strained electricity supply during the peak usage periods in summer and in order to maintain stable electricity supply for residential use, the industrial enterprises and plants across Sichuan Province (save for those located in Panzhihua Prefecture Liangshan and Autonomous Prefecture Sichuan Province) would be required to suspend its of operations starting from 15 August 2022 (the "Power Restrictions"). In compliance with the mandatory Power Restrictions, the Company has temporarily suspended the operations at the Maoling Mine, which is located in Wenchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province on 15 August 2022. As, the Company's management was given to understand, the Power Restrictions will affect the production of the Maoling Mine in the second half of August 2022 as the Maoling Mine operations may not resume until possibly in late August 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances.
