Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) has announced that, following a competitive tender, it has chosen GreenYellow to develop photovoltaic shade structures at its Futuroscope, Walibi Rhône Alpes and Parc Astérix sites.

The projects at Futuroscope and Walibi Rhône Alpes would represent around 12 MWp, for a production of around 13 GWh per year. Studies will begin in January, with the aim of starting work before the end of 2024 and commissioning in 2025.

The development of shading systems for these parks is designed to secure the supply and optimize the cost of electricity consumed on its sites, while enabling the CDA to contribute to the production of renewable energy.
