Corporación Moctezuma, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 4,885.16 million compared to MXN 4,368.7 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 1,587.09 million compared to MXN 1,099.17 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 1.85 compared to MXN 1.27 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 1.85 compared to MXN 1.27 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was MXN 19,662.25 million compared to MXN 16,282.26 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 6,165.78 million compared to MXN 4,386 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 7.17 compared to MXN 5.04 a year ago.
Corporacion Moctezuma SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged, together with its subsidiaries, in the production, distribution and sale of cement and ready-mix concrete. The Companyâs products portfolio includes a variety of compound Portland cements, white cement and mortar; as well as structural, antibacterial, marine, high resistance, architectural and light concretes, among others. In addition, the Company is active in the provision of such support services as technical assessment, concrete pumping and placement of industrial and decorative floors.
