CyberStep, Inc. Announces Consolidated and Non Consolidated Earnings Results for the Year Ended May 2016; Provides Earnings Guidance for the First Half of the Year Ending November 2016 and for the Year Ending May 2017

CyberStep, Inc. announced consolidated and non consolidated earnings results for the year ended May 2016. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of ¥1,755 million, operating loss of ¥289 million, ordinary loss of ¥384 million and loss attributable to owners of parent of ¥827 million or ¥175.79 per basic share compared to net sales of ¥1,464 million, operating loss of ¥292 million, ordinary loss of ¥398 million and loss attributable to owners of parent of ¥439 million or ¥163.79 per basic share reported in the same period last year. Cash out flows from operating activities was ¥267 million against ¥140 million reported last year.
For the year, on non consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of ¥1,287 million, operating loss of ¥320 million, ordinary loss of ¥389 million and loss of ¥835 million or ¥177.55 per basic share compared to net sales of ¥802 million, operating loss of ¥373 million, ordinary loss of ¥379 million and loss of ¥411 million or ¥153.59 per basic share reported in the same period last year.
For the first half of the year ending November 2016, the group expected to report net sales of ¥1,059 million, operating income of ¥10 million and ordinary income of ¥12 million.
For the year ending May 2017, the group expected to report net sales of ¥2,119 million, operating income of ¥40 million, ordinary income of ¥44 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥20 million or ¥4.21 per basic share.
CyberStep, Inc. is a Japan-based company engaged in the development and operation of online games. It is mainly engaged in the development of network and entertainment software, the research and development of distributed network libraries and 3D graphics engine, as well as the operation of online gaming service. The in-house service is a business model that provides an online game service to users directly without going through a game operating company. The Company operates online games domestically and overseas including Korea, China and Thailand, among others.
