Mizuho Bank, Ltd. agreed to acquire 40% stake in Defined Contribution Plan Services Co., Ltd. from Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company, Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. (TSE:8750) and Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance Company on February 7, 2024. As a result of the acquisition, Mizuho Bank will own 100% of the common stock of Defined Contribution Plan Services.

Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. is a holding company specializing in life insurance. The group provides primarily savings, pension and health contracts.
