DAIHEN Corporation agreed to acquire Lorch Schweisstechnik Limited for ?22 million on August 2, 2023. Transaction has been approved by DAIHEN Corporation?s board. Transaction is expected to close on January 15, 2024.

Michael Burian, Tim Weber, Johannes Hertfelder, Rut Steinhauser, Marc Ruttloff and Ocka Stumm Gleiss Lutz acted as legal advisor to Daihen Corporation. Dr Claus-Peter Fabian, Julia Fünfgeld, Dr Martin Mohr, Dr Olaf Thießen, Dr Kathrin Groß, Dr Rolf Hempel, Martin Cholewa, Dirk Loycke, Julia Dönch, Thomas Fröhlich and Dr Philipp Deuchler of CMS acted as legal advisors to Lorch Schweisstechnik Limited.

The Company operates in three business segments. The Electrical Power Equipment segment manufactures, sells and repairs various transformers, power receiving and distribution facilities, switches, control communication equipment as well as dispersed power equipment.
