Decora S.A. announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2012. For the period, the company reported net profit was PLN 5,618,000 compared to PLN 913,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit before taxation was PLN 7,069,000 compared to PLN 1,105,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit from operating activity was PLN 3,655,000 compared to PLN 404,000 for the same period a year ago. Profit from sales was PLN 4,600,000 compared to PLN 556,000 for the same period a year ago. Revenues from sales was PLN 71,441,000 compared to PLN 64,440,000 for the same period a year ago. Net cash used in operating activity was PLN 1,483,000 compared to PLN 7,325,000 for the same period a year ago. Amount spent on purchases of tangible fixed assets was PLN 15,000 compared to PLN 153,000 for the same period a year ago.
Decora SA is a Poland-based company engaged in the production and dealing of finishing and internal decorating articles. The Company offer includes window and ceiling decor products, such as roller blinds, curtain rods, ceiling tiles, rosettes and moldings, as well as floor finishing products, such as skirting boards, floor insulation and flooring profiles.. The Company main brands are Arbiton, Ewifoam, Vidella, Vidella Prestige and fixprix.
