Delta Apparel, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended July 01, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 106.32 million compared to USD 126.88 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 6.29 million compared to net income of USD 6.24 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.9 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.9 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.9 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.88 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 323.95 million compared to USD 369.32 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 16.84 million compared to net income of USD 20.02 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 2.41 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 2.87 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 2.41 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 2.84 a year ago.
