Drone Volt announced on Wednesday that its newly-created division, Drone Volt Expert, had become profitable in November, in its fourth month of operation.

The subsidiary, which recently won two major tenders for inspection missions, has carried out some 400 missions to date, with a staff of around fifteen.

The entity is dedicated to providing services in the fields of surveillance, inspection, data acquisition and processing by drones.

It now aims to accelerate its development in the
aeromaritime field, via offshore missions

As an indication, the professional civil drone market is taking off in many sectors, with growth forecasts ranging from 10% to 20% per annum by 2027.

In a reaction note, analysts at Invest Securities are now forecasting sales of the order of 500.000 euros in 2023 for Drone Volt Expert, to be compared with total sales of 22.9 million euros for the group, then one million euros in 2024.

These announcements enabled Drone Volt shares to rebound by more than 5% on Wednesday morning, less than a week after a sales warning for 2023 which had little impact on the stock market.
