Emkay Taps and Cutting Tools Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the manufacture of taps and cutting tools and the production of power through windmill. The Company operates through two segments: the manufacturing of tools and the generation of power. It offers Straight Flute, Spiral Point Taps, Spiral Flute 15Â° Taps, Spiral Flute 35Â° Taps, Fluteless Taps, Cast Iron, Pipe Taps, and Nut/NIB Taps. Its Straight Flute taps are mainly recommended for cast iron and spheroidal graphite (SG) iron components. These taps can also be designed for tapping on other components like cast iron, brass, magnesium, and bronze. Spiral Point Tap or Gun Nose Tap with 3-4 thread chamfer is recommended for tapping in through holes; it also offers left hand spiral with right-hand cutting for this application. These taps are suitable for materials like aluminum, stainless-steel, general-purpose steel, and forged steel. The Company sells its range of products under the brand name EMKAY TOOLS.
