Equity Commonwealth Appoints David Helfand as Chair of the Board of Trustees

Equity Commonwealth is an internally managed and self-advised real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is primarily engaged in the ownership and operation of office properties in the United States. It operates as an umbrella partnership real estate investment trust (UPREIT) and conducting substantially all of its activities through EQC Operating Trust (Operating Trust).
