Beate Uhse AG reported earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2014. For the period, the Group has achieved sales of EUR 70.0 million against EUR 68.4 million a year ago. This corresponds to an increase of 2.3%, with Wholesale and Mail Order as the biggest growth drivers.

The continued strengthening of e-commerce sales and focussing on own brands have contributed in particular to this success. In this context, EBIT and EBT also improved encouragingly. EBIT increased by 32.9% to EUR 1.5 million against EUR 1.1 million a year ago.

EBT also showed considerable growth, increasing to EUR 0.7 million against EUR 0.3 million a year ago. These results clearly show that the transition from the stabilisation phase to the planned growth phase has been successful.
