Amper, S.A. (BME:AMP) entered into a memorandum of understanding to acquire 45% stake in Euroconsult Engineering Consulting Group, S.A. (BME:ECG) on August 23, 2018. The closing of the transaction is subject to satisfactory completion of a due diligence process and the acceptance by Euroconsult's creditors. As of September 26, 2018, Amper has decided to suspend the due diligence of Euroconsult since the economic-financial situation of Euroconsult is not line with what Amper expected. However, Amper will continue the acquisition.

Euroconsult Engineering Consulting Group SA, formerly Euroconsult Group SA, is a Spain-based company engaged in the global consulting services to public and private clients to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain projects around the world. The projects, in which the Company is involved, are related to the infrastructure, engineering for construction and technology. The services, which the Company offers, include project management for buildings, building engineering, laboratory and testing services, geotechnical engineering, operation and maintenance consultancy, pavement management, infrastructure condition survey and structural monitoring, among others. The markets, which the Company focuses on, are transport infrastructure, architecture, urban engineering, energy, water and environment, among others.
