On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had net income of 24 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 35 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 34 cents per share.

The provider of outsourcing services posted revenue of $414.1 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $408.6 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $184.6 million, or $1.10 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.63 billion.

ExlService Holdings expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.56 to $1.62 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.78 billion to $1.82 billion.
