Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was EGP 1,076.15 million compared to EGP 1,300.39 million a year ago. Net income was EGP 731.38 million compared to EGP 518.72 million a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was EGP 2,362.83 million compared to EGP 2,552.48 million a year ago. Net income was EGP 2,021.18 million compared to EGP 1,097.26 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was EGP 3,163 compared to EGP 1,686.6667 a year ago.
