Farmaceutica Remedia SA is a Romania-based company principally engaged in the operation of pharmacies. The Company is active in the marketing, import and distribution of drugs. Additionally, it sells packing materials for pharmaceutical industry. The company operates approximately a network of 100 pharmacies and drugstores placed in Alba, Arad, Bucharest, Calarasi, Cluj, Dambovita, Dolj, Giurgiu, Hunedoara, Ilfov, Sibiu, Timis and Tulcea. Farmaceutica Remedia also operates eight logistic centers in Bucuresti, Deva, Brasov, Craiova, Iasi, Pitesti, Sibiu, Tg. Mures and Timisoara. The Company’s major shareholders are Tarus Valentin-Norbert, which owns 66.06% of shares, and AHG Vermogensverwaltungs GmbH Cottbus with 16.5%.
