FGV Holdings Berhad appointed Dato' Dr. Suzana Idayu Wati Binti Osman as Non Independent and Non Executive Director, effective April 1, 2024. Her age is 56. She did Doctorate in Finance at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Advanced Management Program (AMP 177) at Harvard Business School, Harvard University, USA, Masters in Finance at Universiti Putra Malaysia and Degree in BA(Hons), Business Studies at University of Huddersfield, UK.

Working experience: Dato' Dr. Suzana Idayu Wati Osman is a distinguished and highly experienced C-suite professional with 30 years of expertise across various industries bringing a wealth of strategic insights and transformative leadership to her roles. With a strong background in food, agriculture, financial services, and institutional asset management, she has held numerous board positions and C-level roles, offering unique perspectives in managing multi-business corporate entities and multi-asset financial portfolios. She served as Chairperson, Board of Directors and Advisors of more than 35 entities across various sectors such as plantation, downstream agri-business, oleochemicals, consumer goods, technology, travel, construction, livestock, logistic, trading, fintech and private equity firm.

Currently, she holds significant positions in esteemed organizations such as serving as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at the Malaysian Palm Oil Certification Council (MPOCC), that oversees the development and operation of the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) Certification scheme. Dato' Dr. Suzana is also a Director and member of Nomination and Remuneration Committee at Encorp Berhad. Holding a role as a Director at Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan (FELDA), she serves as the Chairperson of the Investment Committee and the Risk and Governance Committee.

She also serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at IIUM Holdings Sdn Bhd. She is also a Public Interest Director of Private Pension Administrator Malaysia (PPA) and member of Audit and Risk Management Committee as well as Nomination and Remuneration Committee. In addition to her current roles, she actively participates in various committees and task forces, driving impactful initiatives and overseeing strategic implementations.
