Fuji Seal International, Inc. (TSE:7864) agreed to acquire remaining 51% stake in Fuji Ace Co., Ltd. from Ajinomoto Co., Inc. (TSE:2802) for THB 1.2 billion on January 31, 2020. Pre deal, Fuji Seal International held 49% stake and post acquisition, Fuji Seal International will hold 100% stake in Fuji Ace Co., Ltd. Under the terms, the parties agree to sign share transfer agreement on February 5 ,2020. The transfer is expected to close in the first quarter of financial year 2019, ending March 31, 2020.
FUJI SEAL INTERNATIONAL, INC. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the planning, proposing, developing, manufacturing and sales of packaging systems centered on shrink sleeve labels, self-adhesive labels (pressure sensitive labels) and spouted pouches.
