The Board of Trustees of GAMCO Natural Resources, Gold & Income Trust (the “Fund”) approved the continuation of its policy of paying monthly cash distributions. The Board of Trustees declared cash distributions of $0.03 per share for each of October, November, and December 2020. This equates to an expected total annual 2020 distribution of $0.48 per common share. Based on current dynamics, the Fund may make distributions in excess of the Fund’s earnings. For October the record date is October 16, 2020 and payable date is October 23, 2020. For November the record date is November 13, 2020 and November 20, 2020. For December the record date December is 11, 2020 and Payable Date is December 18, 2020.
Gamco Natural Resources, Gold & Income Trust is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fundâs investment objective is to provide a high level of current income. The Fundâs secondary investment objective is to seek capital appreciation consistent with the Fundâs strategy and primary objective. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will attempt to achieve its objectives by investing 80% of its assets in equity securities of companies engaged in natural resource and gold industries, and by writing covered call options on the equity securities. The Fundâs strategy is to invest at least 80% of its assets in securities of companies engaged in the natural resources and gold industries. It is focused on investing at least 25% of its assets in the securities of companies principally engaged in the exploration, production or distribution of natural resources, such as base metals, paper, food, agriculture, others.
