General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,631.588 million compared to TWD 1,740.736 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 98.857 million compared to TWD 125.734 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 85.281 million compared to net loss of TWD 110.788 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.67 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.9 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 3,328.129 million compared to TWD 3,436.815 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 244.983 million compared to TWD 139.763 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 188.621 million compared to net loss of TWD 150.561 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.48 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 1.43 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.47 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 1.43 a year ago.
