Genius Electronic Optical Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,697.537 million compared to TWD 1,113.346 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 720.144 million compared to operating loss of TWD 12.069 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 511.383 million compared to TWD 5.066 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 4.59 compared to TWD 0.05 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 4.57 compared to TWD 0.05 a year ago.
Genius Electronic Optical Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of optical lens products and lighting products. The main products include optical lens, optical lenses and lighting products. The optical lens products are applied in traditional cameras, digital cameras, mobile phones and laptops. The optical lenses are applied in traditional cameras, digital cameras, optical mice, fingerprint readers and viewfinders. The lightening products are applied in lighting equipment such as flashlights, street lights and tunnel lights. The Company is also engaged in the provision of other products for injection molding molds and parts. The Company mainly distributes products in Taiwan and other Asian markets.
