1. Reasons for the amendments

In 1995, GMO Internet has launched the Internet business under the corporate slogan "Internet for Everyone." As of today, GMO Internet Group has created a business group - including 10 listed companies - that comprehensively develops Internet Infrastructure (which is a business at the core of the group), Online Advertising & Media, Internet Finance, Crypto assets, and Incubation businesses. GMO Internet Group has been promoting Group management by implementing speedy management through the distribution of authority, sharing the Venture Spirit Declaration, which embodies the spirit in which the Group has been founded, and pursuing group-wide synergies, for the purpose of enhancement of corporate value throughout the group.

We will accelerate the Group management and achieve hundreds of years of sustainable growth by changing the company name from GMO Internet, Inc. to GMO Internet Group, Inc. (Article 1 of the revised Articles of Incorporation)
