Seongmun Green Energy co., Ltd. announce a private placement of 4,737,600 shares at a price of KRW 5,000 per share for gross proceeds of KRW 23,688,000,000 on October 18, 2022. The transaction included participation from returning investor GnCenergy Co., Ltd for 2,018,601 shares, Korea East-West Power Co., Ltd for 1,794,540 shares, and Mirae'N SeohaeEnergy Co.,Ltd. for 924,459 shares. The company issued shares through third-party allocation capital increase.
The transaction was approved by board of directors. The transaction is expected to close on October 26, 2022.
GnCenergy Co., Ltd is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the development and manufacture of electricity generation equipment. The Company operates three main businesses: diesel engine electricity generation business, small size cogeneration business and bio gas electricity generation business. Its main products are electricity generation equipment, such as diesel engine generators, gas generators, gas turbine generators and others. The Companyâs main customers consist of telecommunication companies, such as KT, SK Telecom and LG U+; information technology (IT) companies, such as Samsung SDS, LG CNS, SK C&C, NHN Corporation and others, and hardware companies, such as Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics.
