Grupo Radio Centro, S.A.B. De C.V. Announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was MXN 238.489 million compared to MXN 180.169 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 27.287 million compared to operating loss of MXN 192.577 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 12.757 million compared to MXN 247.446 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.2995 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.9684 a year ago. For the full year, sales was MXN 629.017 million compared to MXN 999.617 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 246.168 million compared to operating loss of MXN 162.354 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 76.535 million compared to net loss of MXN 831.478 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was MXN 0.2995 compared to basic loss per share of MXN 3.2651 a year ago.
Grupo Radio Centro, S.A.B. de C.V. (Grupo Radio Centro) is a Mexico-based broadcasting company. The main activities of Grupo Radio Centro are the production and broadcasting of musical and entertainment programs, programs of information and analysis, news and special events. Grupo Radio Centro operates and owns fifteen radio stations. Of these fifteen radio stations, twelve are located in Mexico City, one AM station located in Guadalajara, one in Monterrey and one FM station in Los Angeles, California. The Company also operates a chain of radio, Impelling Radio Organization (OIR), which provides programming and acts as representative domestic sales of more than a hundred radio stations affiliated to Grupo Radio Centro along the Mexican Republic. The Company sells airtime commercial radio stations.
