Grupo Radio Centro, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 167.81 million compared to MXN 206.64 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 17.44 million compared to net income of MXN 6.49 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.0682 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.02539 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.0682 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of MXN 0.02539 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was MXN 454.63 million compared to MXN 543.67 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 95.95 million compared to MXN 46.19 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.3755 compared to MXN 0.1808 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.3755 compared to MXN 0.1808 a year ago.
Grupo Radio Centro, S.A.B. de C.V. (Grupo Radio Centro) is a Mexico-based broadcasting company. The main activities of Grupo Radio Centro are the production and broadcasting of musical and entertainment programs, programs of information and analysis, news and special events. Grupo Radio Centro operates and owns fifteen radio stations. Of these fifteen radio stations, twelve are located in Mexico City, one AM station located in Guadalajara, one in Monterrey and one FM station in Los Angeles, California. The Company also operates a chain of radio, Impelling Radio Organization (OIR), which provides programming and acts as representative domestic sales of more than a hundred radio stations affiliated to Grupo Radio Centro along the Mexican Republic. The Company sells airtime commercial radio stations.
