GTPL Hathway Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 6,924.17 million compared to INR 6,172.79 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 7,016.61 million compared to INR 6,278.17 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 117.48 million compared to net income of INR 544.73 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 1.04 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 4.84 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 26,639.21 million compared to INR 24,141.18 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 27,139.86 million compared to INR 24,566.53 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,139.44 million compared to INR 1,996.62 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.13 compared to INR 17.75 a year ago.
GTPL Hathway Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in distribution of television channels through digital cable distribution network. It also provides broadband services. It offer a variety of digital cable television services for all customer preferences, including standard definition, high definition and a combination of cable television and over-the-top (OTT) services (Hybrid). It is present across 1,200 plus towns in 22 states across 1500+ towns with presence in states of Gujarat, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Goa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Odisha, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, and Haryana. The Company offers broadband services through GTPL Broadband Private Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary (GTPL Broadband). GTPL Broadband offers high speed and unlimited data broadband to its customers using the Gigabit Passive Optical Network - Fiber to the Home (GPON- FTTH).
