Yunnan Guotai Metal Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire Chaoyang Orient Zirconic New Material Co., Ltd from Guangdong Orient Zirconic Ind Sci & Tech Co., Ltd. (SZSE:002167) for approximately CNY 160 million on March 24, 2021. Board of Guangdong Orient Zirconic Ind Sci & Tech Co approved the deal. As of April 12, 2021, the shareholders of Guangdong Orient Zirconic Ind Sci & Tech Co., Ltd approved the deal. Up to present, the company has completed the relevant industrial and commercial change registration procedures for the transfer of 100% equity of Chaoyang Orient Zirconic New Material Co., Ltd in accordance with the agreement of the equity transfer agreement, and has received CNY 164 million for the equity transfer from Yunnan Guotai Metal Co., Ltd.
Guangdong Orient Zirconic ind sci & tech Co., Ltd. is a China-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of zirconium and zirconium products. The Company's major products include zirconium oxychloride, zirconium dioxide, zirconium silicate, compound zirconium dioxide, structural ceramics, zirconium sponge, zircon sands and fused zirconium. Its products are applied in electronics, ceramics, glass, petrochemical, building material, medicine, textile, aerospace, machinery and commodity industries. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
