Hokkaido Linen Supply K.K. entered into contract to acquire Hokuyo Linen Supply Co., Ltd. from Hakuyosha Company, Ltd. (TSE:9731) on February 22, 2017. Hokkaido Linen Supply K.K. will acquire 0.05 million shares and issue 1.6 shares for each share. Hokuyo Linen Supply Co., Ltd. will be merged into Hokkaido Linen Supply K.K. As of September 30, 2016, Hokuyo Linen Supply Co., Ltd had total assets of ¥441 million. The tentative approval date of the merger by the shareholding commission of Hokuyo Linen Supply is March 27, 2017 and Hokkaido Linen Supply is March 30, 2017. Board of Directors of Hakuyosha Company, Ltd made a resolution in favor of the transaction. The tentative merger date is October 1, 2017.
