Alter Ego Media S.A. agreed to acquire unknown minority stake in Hellenic Company for Telecommunications and Telematic Applications S.A. for €41 million.

Forthnet SA is a Greece-based company, which mainly provides telecommunication and pay-television services. Its principal activities are: the provision of telecommunications services and electronic information systems; the development and use of telecommunications and network technique and infrastructure in Greece and overseas; the provision of digital radio-television and/or audiovisual services, as well as the development of any other associated activity. It is licensed for the operation of a fixed public telephone network, a fixed network of wireless access, a fixed network of electronic communications consisting of cordless micro-links, a fiber optics network and for the provision of services regarding broadband access, data transfer, telematic/telemetry-radiolocation, audiotex, voice and data integration for intrabusiness networks and closed user groups, telephone services as well as voice services through Internet Protocol (IP) and through the Internet.
