Matija Kovacevic has been appointed a member of the management board and CFO at Hrvatski Telekom (HT), effective August 1. He replaces Daniel Daub, who resigned his position and will continue his career at Deutsche Telekom as senior VP for finance at DT Europe. Kovacevic has more than 20 years professional experience in the field of controlling, strategy and transformation, which he gained primarily in the telecommunications industry. He joined HT in 2003 and since then has held several managerial positions within the area of HT's finances, including that of a member of the management board and CFO of Iskon.

Since 2010, he continued his career at Deutsche Telekom, where he held several managerial positions in Germany and Greece. Among other things, he was responsible for financial and business steering in the subsidiaries of Deutsche Telekom in Greece, Romania, Albania and Bulgaria, and led numerous projects of transformation and change of operating models in Greece, as well as controlling the central office for Europe at Deutsche Telekom. He is currently director of the controlling, transformation and investor relations department at HT.
