FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX Broker) - The shares of Sto SE are attempting to break out of their five-week sideways phase on Thursday. In early trading, they climbed 1.7 percent to their highest level since August, most recently gaining 1.1 percent to 142.60 euros.

The authors of the Bernecker-Borsenbrief believe that prices of 180 euros are possible for the Black Forest paint manufacturer and specialist for thermal insulation if there are further rays of hope from the construction industry.

They refer to the figures recently published by the financial services provider Hypoport, which point to an easing in the construction sector. On Thursday, Hypoport shares initially paid tribute to their strong price growth of the past few days, falling by 1.4 percent./ajx/mis
