Iberpapel Group Reports Earnings Results for the First Nine Months of 2016

Iberpapel Group reported earnings results for the first nine months of 2016. For the period, the company reported earnings net profit of EUR 13.61 million, up 32.59% year-on-year. Revenue in the first nine months amounted to EUR 149.52 million, down slightly from the EUR 166.34 million reported in nine months 2016, shaped by lower paper sales volumes and the drop in electricity market pool prices. EBITDA, however, firmed by 22.96% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2016 to EUR 25.69 million compared to EUR 20.89 million a year ago. Profit after tax was EUR 13.61 million compared to EUR 10.27 million a year ago.
