Iguá Saneamento S.A. has hired Brazilian bank Bradesco to help it improve its bid for the Rio de Janeiro state water supply company Companhia Estadual de Aguas e Esgotos do Rio de Janeiro (CEDAE) with both financial advise and funding. Rio de Janeiro state could potentially receive BRL 10 billion (EUR 1.57 billion or USD 1.86 billion) from this privatisation. Igua Saneamento recently raised BRL 880 million through debentures. CEDAE is expected to attract both domestic and international players.
