Intereuropa's managing board president Damijan Vajs has resigned. Intereuropa's supervisory board has accepted the resignation of Vajs, who will lead the company until the appointment of new board members or until June 3 at the latest. The company did not reveal the reasons for the resignation of Vajs, but the move comes after a thorough restructuring of the management of Intereuropa's majority owner, state-run Posta Slovenije, launched after the government of prime minister Robert Golob took office last year.

Intereuropa's supervisory board appointed Vajs as managing board president for a four-year term of office on December 29, 2021.
