The Board of Directors of Jooyon Tech Co., Ltd. (KOSE: A044380) authorized a share repurchase program on November 3, 2010. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 700 million worth own shares pursuant to a trust agreement with Shinhan Investment Corp. The purpose behind the program is to stabilize the stock price and to enhance shareholder value. Repurchases will commence on November 3, 2010 and will continue until May 2, 2011. As of November 3, 2011, the company has 1,422,990 shares directly owned treasury stock and 627,230 treasury stock under trust agreement.
On May 2, 2011, the company announced that it has extended the program till November 1, 2011.
On November 1, 2011, the company announced that it has extended the program till April 30, 2012.
Shinhan Investment Corp. acted as the broker for the buyback.
