Juki Corporation announced the launch of the DX-2000QVP household computerized sewing machine and the MO-2000QVP overlock sewing machine, as part of the QVP Series of quilting sewing machines. Juki will begin sales in Europe, the US, China, and other countries under the name of 'QVP Series' on October 1, 2015. Juki has already been selling the TL-2200QVP long-arm sewing machine for quilting that offers original stitching for large quilts in the US and Japan (worldwide sales to begin in October 2015).

With the addition of the household sewing machine and compact overlock sewing machine, these models will form a series of sewing machines for quilting. The DX-2000QVP household computerized sewing machine was developed based on the HZL-DX7, Juki's top-of-the-line computerized sewing machine, the DX-2000QVP is equipped with 240 different stitch patterns. In addition, the DX-2000QVP features various functions that will make quilting more enjoyable, while also stimulating the user's creativity.

This includes the 'float function' equipped on the DX-7 that prevents wrinkles and uneven seams, the 'pivot function' that automatically raises the presser foot a few millimeters when the sewing machine stops so that the user can easily change the direction of the fabric when sewing a corner or curve, and a function that can automatically change the stitch width when sewing corners on an applique. The MO-2000QVP compact overlock sewing machine features an easy threader that makes the complicated and difficult threading task of overlock sewing machines easy for everyone. By adjusting the thread tension and feed settings, it is possible to sew up to 15 kinds of stitches.

In previous models, the user had to confirm the various settings for each stitch using the instruction manual. However, this new model is equipped with an LCD screen that displays the settings that are suitable for the selected stitch, thus the stitch type can be changed simply by adjusting the settings according to the instructions shown on the display. With a function to prevent unraveling at the edge of fabric after quilting and patchwork sewing using the overlock sewing machine stitching, this machine will makequilting more enjoyable.

Juki will continue to expand and improve its product lineup and functions useful for quilting, further publicize the 'JUKI QVP Quilting Machine Series,' nd expand the company's sales. These models will be introduced sequentially in line with the timing of the launch in the market of each country, starting from the International Quilt Festival to be held in the US (from October 29 to November 1, 2015 in Houston, Texas).
