KGHM Appoints Marek Swider as New Deputy CEO for Production

KGHM Polska Mied? S.A. specializes in the exploration and production of non ferrous metals. Net sales break down by activity as follows: - copper production (77.5%): copper cathodes, copper concentrates and copper rods (753.7 Kt produced in 2021); - production of non-ferrous metals (19.5%): silver (1.4 Kt produced), lead and gold; - services (0.6%): primarily realization of mining construction projects; - other (2.4%): primarily manufacturing of mining equipments, transportation services, distribution of electricity and thermal power and waste water process. Net sales break down geographically as follows: Poland (23.9%), Germany (15%), Italy (8.1%), Czech Republic (7.3%), the United Kingdom (5.2%), Hungary (4.6%), France (3.2%), Europe (7%), China (11.7%), Asia (4.2%), the United States (5.5%), America (0.1%), Australia (4.1%) and Africa (0.1%).
