KGHM has received three construction permits for a set of photovoltaic farms with a total installed capacity of 7.5 MW at the Glogow smelter, the company said in a press release. The investment comprises three photovoltaic farm projects, i.e. PV HM Glogow I, PV HM Glogow II and PV HM Glogow III, located on the industrial premises of the Glogow smelter. As mentioned, they will be built in the close neighbourhood of consumer installations, including existing MV transformer substations to which new projects are planned to be connected.

KGHM said that further RES projects planned for realisation on real estate owned by KGHM Polska Miedz remain in the investment preparation process. The project portfolio's total planned installed capacity is over 200 MW.
