Kid Asa Appoints Mads Kigen as New CFO

Kid ASA announced the appointment of Mads Kigen as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from 1 July 2023. Kigen has been employed in Kid since 2021 as Senior Business Development Manager with responsibility for establishing the new central warehouse in Sweden. He has a broad and relevant experience from six years in PwC Deals and PwC Consulting, in addition to experience from the supplier and retail sector within finance and business development.

Kigen is a Norwegian citizen and holds a Master's degree in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark.

Kid ASA is a Norway-based specialist within home textile and interior market. The Company operates as a home textile retailer through Kid Interior in Norway, and under the Hemtex brand in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. The Kid Group offers a full range of home and interior products, including textiles, curtains, bed linens, smaller furniture, accessories and other interior products. The Company designs, sources, markets and sells these products through its stores as well as through its online sales platforms. The Group sells interior products mainly through wholly owned stores. Majority of the Company's products are Kid branded, while some premium products are marketed as sub-brands such as Dekosol and Nordun.
