Reflecting a strong start to the year, Kimberly-Clark has raised its outlook for 2024, now anticipating growth at constant exchange rates in the low single-digit to mid-single-digit range for both adjusted EPS and adjusted operating profit.

The supplier of personal hygiene products, which owns the Kleenex and Huggies brands, for example, also now anticipates organic sales growth in the mid-single-digit range, rather than in the low or mid-single-digit range.

In the first quarter, the group posted adjusted EPS growth of 20% to $2.01, with gross margin improving by 3.9 points to 37.1%, on revenues of $5.1 billion, with organic growth of 6%.
