Smoore International Holdings Ltd.'s adjusted net profit for the first half of 2022 fell 52.0%, owing to the impact from the prolonged and recurring Covid-19 pandemic during the period.

Adjusted net profit declined to 1.44 billion yuan ($209.92 million) in the January-to-June period from CNY2.98 billion for the same period a year earlier, the vaping technology solutions provider said in a filing to the Hong Kong Exchange on Wednesday. Revenue dropped to CNY5.65 billion in the first half from CNY6.95 billion for the same period a year ago.

Looking ahead, Smoore International will continue to focus on the field of atomization with "atomization technology" as the core, on building world-leading atomization technology platforms, on product innovation and business incubation as well as on cultivating partnerships within the industry, it said.
