Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 494 million compared to USD 417 million a year ago. Net income was USD 10 million compared to USD 67 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.13 compared to USD 0.88 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.13 compared to USD 0.87 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 865 million compared to USD 679 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 21 million compared to net income of USD 40 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.28 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.53 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.28 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.52 a year ago.
Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiary, Tripadvisor, Inc.
