Lojas Renner S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported revenue was BRL 3,626.34 million compared to BRL 2,490.29 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 360.39 million compared to BRL 193.07 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.3643.
For the six months, revenue was BRL 6,239.36 million compared to BRL 4,071.69 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 552.02 million compared to BRL 45.37 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.558.
Lojas Renner S.A. specializes in the retail distribution of clothes and accessories for men, women and children. Gross sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of products (90.4%): clothes, lingerie, shoes, bags, accessories, perfumes, cosmetic products, etc.;
- financial products (9.6%).
At the end of 2021, the marketing of the products is ensured through a network of 636 stores under the Renner (404), Camicado (119), Youcom (104) and Ashua (9) names in Brazil, and through Internet.
