Lumens Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 56,911.02 million compared to KRW 75,340.55 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 2,410.73 million compared to KRW 3,478.36 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 51 compared to KRW 39 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 51. Basic earnings per share was KRW 51 compared to KRW 75 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 723.93 million compared to KRW 3,244.41 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 7,144.44 million compared to net income of KRW 6,897.6 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 69 compared to KRW 115 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 152 compared to basic earnings per share of KRW 148 a year ago.
Lumens Co.,Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of light emitting diode (LED) products. The Company operates its business through two business divisions: LED division and communication division. Its LED division provides LEDs and LED modules used for liquid crystal display (LCD) back light units (BLUs), spot lightings, street lightings, factory lightings, automobiles, mobile phones and others. It communication division provides military and civilian communications equipment, such as mobile radio frequency modules (MRFMs), base station radio frequency modules (BRFMs), radio access units (RAUs) and others. The Company distributes its LED products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
