Lumens Co., Ltd.'s Equity Buyback in the amount of KRW5000 mm has expired

The Board of Directors of Lumens Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A038060) authorized a share repurchase program on August 23, 2011. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 5 billion worth own shares pursuant to a trust agreement with Mirae Asset Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose behind the program is to stabilize the stock price, to enhance shareholder value and to deliver treasury stocks as incentives for employees and Officers or stock options. Repurchases will commence on August 23, 2011 and will continue until February 22, 2012. As of August 23, 2011, the company has no shares in treasury. Mirae Asset Securities Co., Ltd. acted as the broker for the buyback.
Lumens Co., Ltd.'s share repurchase program expired on February 22, 2012. Under the plan, the company has repurchased 757,923 shares.

The Company operates its business through two business divisions: LED division and communication division. Its LED division provides LEDs and LED modules used for liquid crystal display (LCD) back light units (BLUs), spot lightings, street lightings, factory lightings, automobiles, mobile phones and others.
