MAXIM GLOBAL Maxim Global Berhad (KLSE:MAXIM) agreed to acquire Asiatic Network Sdn. Bhd. from Chai Chang Guan and ChaiSeong Min for MYR 32.2 million on April 13, 2023.
Under the terms, MYR 18.67 million will be paid in cash and 58.8 million shares will be issued. As of June 30, 2022, Asiatic Network reported PAT of MYR 0.005 million. The transaction is subject to obtain the approval of Maxim Global?s shareholder, obtain the approval-in-principle of Bursa Securities for the listing of and quotation for the Consideration Shares and the completion of a due diligence exercise.
As of August 4, 2023 Maxim Global Berhad's shareholders approved the transaction. UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd. acted as financial advisor to Maxim Global Berhad.
