Mermeren Kombinat reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company turned to a net loss of MKD 11 million from a profit of MKD 63.8 million in the same period last year. Sales revenues fell 17% on the year to MKD 173.7 million in January-March, with exports down 19% to MKD 163.4 million and domestic sales up 69% to MKD 10.3 million. The company reported an operating loss of MKD 8.7 million versus a profit of MKD 71.3 million a year ago.
