Mito Securities Co., Ltd. (TSE:8622) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 1,000,000 shares, representing 1.42% of the outstanding shares for ¥400 million. Shares will be repurchased by market purchase by trust method. The purpose of the program is to improve overall shareholder returns and capital efficiency. The program will run until February 28, 2018. As of March 31, 2017, the company had 70,588,080 shares outstanding and 5,100,953 shares in treasury.
