Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Reobtains IATF16949 Certification by Bureau Veritas Japan Co., Ltd

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced that the IATF16949 certification for the company's Himeji Works (Himeji-City, Hyogo Prefecture), which had been withdrawn on November 30, 2022, was recertified effective February 8 and its Hirohata Factory effective February 9, 2024 following reassessments by Bureau Veritas Japan Co., Ltd. Notifications from the Bureau Veritas Japan Co. were received by March 4, 2024. The IATF16949 certification (IATF16949:2016; registration number IATF16949 - 0500579, 0500404) is an international standard for automotive quality management systems.
