Moser-Baer India Ltd. announced audited standalone earnings results for the fourth quarter and full ended December 31, 2014 and consolidated earnings results for the full ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the standalone company reported net sales of INR 1,961.0 million compared with INR 2,847.6 million for the same period a year ago. Loss from operation before other income, finance cost and exceptional items was INR 720.0 million compared with INR 637.8 million for the same period a year ago. Loss from ordinary activities before tax was INR 2,064.2 million compared with INR 2,164.1 million for the same period a year ago. Net loss was INR 2,064.2 million or INR 9.91 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared with INR 2,164.1 million or INR 11.19 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items for the same period a year ago.

For the full year, the standalone company reported net sales of INR 9,619.4 million, loss from operation before other income, finance cost and exceptional items of INR 2,770.1 million, loss from ordinary activities before tax of INR 7,082.9 million and net loss of INR 7,082.9 million or INR 34.26 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items.

For the full year, the consolidated company reported net sales of INR 11,420.9 million, loss from operation before other income, finance cost and exceptional items of INR 4,953.2 million, loss from ordinary activities before tax of INR 9,394.3 million and net loss of INR 9,395.3 million or INR 45.45 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items.
